![]() There is a camp south of the Twin Cities that I love. The peace and beauty there takes me to another place. That is why it shows up in all of the Chrysalis series books. It's like an anchor you can drop when you just need to breathe. That is why I'm so happy that I get to spend the weekend there. Its like my unofficial cabin in the woods. Sure I'll be working helping out the ranger all weekend as the campmaster, but it's worth it. My family will be with me and that just makes it more special. Phillippo is where my son was ushered into Boy Scouts from Cub Scouts. See the picture above. That is a picture of when he attended his final overnight camp there as a Webelo scout. It's a sad good-bye to childhood that is followed by a joyous hello into a young adult phase of his life.
