M-Can you introduce yourself?
O-Oscar Jeffreys, I'm a senior at St. Paul High, I'm a wide receiver for Cougar football and I play the five on the basketball team.
M-Any other accolades?
O-(he laughs) Yea, I'm an Eagle Scout and currently the student body president.
M-Do you have any fears?
O-Not much, Ellie's a little scary when she flips out, but that's because it's not like I can do anything until she calms down. I am afraid that she might get hurt, seeing as she likes to storm off and blocks out the world around her when she does.
M-What is your greatest desire?
O-Yeah, um (Oscar smiles, but wipes it off his face with his hand) That's kinda like telling what you wished for when you blow out your candles.
M-Do you have anything that could make you cry?
O-Letting down my scoutmaster would hurt me, not sure if it would make me cry though. He was there for me when my dad was depressed after my mom died.
M-What could drive you to murder?
O-Without good reason I would never harm or kill another living thing.
M-That sounds really familiar ...
O-Scout law. Good reason would be to protect another person who was weaker than me.
M-You're a big guy, that's most people.
O-I didn't ask to be this big, I just ate my beans when I was young. (Gives me a wink.)
M-Do you have a motto? Or could you sum yourself up in a word or two?
O-(Leaning his forearms on his knees he looks me in the eye.) What word would you use?
M-Perfect
O-Not by a long shot, but in everything I do, I'll always push myself to my breaking point.
